We seek to uphold and apply the following operating philosophy in all of our activities.

Building a Humanitarian Bridge

We desire to be a bridge allowing those with financial resources and a heart for the poor, especially potential corporate and institutional donors, to reach out to those who desperately need such help. By conducting a thorough investigation of possible aid opportunities before committing any financial resources, we seek to facilitate the channeling of financial resources of corporate America and institutional donors elsewhere around the world in a way that will provide a meaningful care to children and youth in poverty-stricken areas. By contributing their financial resources to us, corporate and other institutional donors may be assured that their contributions will be used for purposes honoring their intention.

Pro-actively Seeking Aid Opportunities

We pro-actively seeks aid opportunities rather than providing event- or publicity-driven reactive relief efforts. While we in no way underestimate the importance of emergency or short-term aid to meet immediate needs resulting from natural disasters or man-made conditions, we believe our mandate is to seek out communities or situations presenting genuine need for sustained help and/or to identify local groups or organizations engaged in humanitarian efforts worth supporting. To this end, we regularly tap into our information network to gather and analyze intelligence regarding potential aid opportunities and conducts investigations, if warranted.

Providing Long-term Care

While retaining the flexibility and resources to offer ad hoc or emergency relief, we primarily intend to provide comprehensive long-term care so that children and youth of an impacted community may be nurtured and developed into productive members and leaders of that community. Such long-term care will include food, clothing, medical care and education and training and also aim at the healing and wholesome development of the character of children and youth.

Partnering with Local Organizations

In order to ensure the comprehensive nature and continuity of its aid program, we explore and actively promote partnering with trustworthy local groups and organizations to implement our goals, including the possibility of local ownership and control of facilities and projects. We are keenly aware that locally based groups and organizations are frequently far better-suited to serve the needs of local residents. Although we do not seek to enlarge our own programs or retain or assert control over aid programs or personnel, we will continuously monitor the progress of each program it supports in order to ensure that the overall humanitarian goals are honored and pursued in accordance with our mission and the donors' expectations.

Adhering to the Highest Standards of Accountability and Integrity

We will uphold and adhere to the highest standards of accountability and integrity in all of our activities, including fundraising activities, internal management and application of the donated funds. We will seek to apply the highest possible percentage of donated funds directly toward the purchase of relief supplies and the provision of related services rather than administrative expenses. In this regard, we rely on volunteer services to the extent possible and seeks to maintain a streamlined organizational structure. Currently, we have no paid employee.
